T-shirt / Poster and I-phone Cover Design

‘The World’ isn’t just a good card to pull in a tarot deck because it has a girl dancing naked on it. It’s also good because it represents some pretty cool things like completion and competency. You pull this card when the struggles are over and the complements begin pouring in, it’s kind of the opposite of ‘the fool’ card.

		<description>Alice’s Adventures in Wonerland
Alice the Gryphon and the Mockturtle

“Reeling and Writhing, of course, to begin with,” the Mock Turtle replied, “and then the different branches of rithmetic Ambition, Distraction, Uglification, and Derision”
-Lewis Carroll

The Alice project was a very exciting experience where artists, designers and photographers the world over were asked to each create a seperate image for each page of Lewis Carrolls clasic novel. I chose this particular page as I thought it would be interesting to explore an area of the book less known and that doesn’t come with as many
pre-concieved ideas due to Disneys well known version of the story. I focused more on pallette than I had in previous projects. This book can now be bought online at amazon.com, all profits go to Oxfam international.

Website Design

This website design, created for ElysiumProductions, (elysiumproductions.co) was both challenging and rewarding. Creating a well branded website that is easy to navigate, easy to read and visually desirable was an intricate job. All elements of the site from splash page to checkout integrate seamlessy with one another and with the bigcartel system it runs off of. Refering to the same visual elements used in the original branding of the line was the most usefull tool in creating the site.

Branding for online apparel brand

For my new street apparel brand ‘Elysium Productions’, I was able to create branding that is both consistant and diverse. The colours and recuring themes work well in all the applicable areas including mailers, hang-tags, brochures, flyers and web branding. The clean lines and limited colour pallete makes for greate consistant and appealing graphics.

		<description>Amari House
An exploration of nature inspired graphics

The Amari House project was a wonderful and creative project to be asked to develop (not least because of the friendly and likeable owners of teh company!). This simple but effective design steers away from the 'swirly' logos currently being pumped out in the beauty and therapy industry. This instead denotes a simpler and more relaxed company image.

Australia Day 2010

I created this layered poster by using the lyrics to both Australia’s official anthem, Advance Australia Fair and Australia’s unofficial anthem Waltzing Matilda. This poster was seen across Hobsons Bay during the week leading up to Australia day and was most notably seen at the popular Australia day festival held on the williamstown pier. <description>Birds of a Feather Rock Together
Entrant to online design competition

“A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”
- Maya Angelou

This three colour screen print is a play on words created for the clothing brand, New Mults. Taken from an illustration I created as a tonal experiment, the final image is both layered and highly staggered.
